"Peace One Day"

As Prescott Peacebuilders prepare for our Community Peace Concert on Sunday, September 21st, we invite you to join us to learn about one man’s mission to inspire the global community. 

In 1999, Jeremy Gilley founded Peace One Day, an organization dedicated to promoting global peace. Through his efforts, and with support from the United Nations, a fixed day of global ceasefire and non-violence was officially established. A day of peace for all humanity. 

Now recognized worldwide as the UN International Day of Peace, "Peace Day" is observed each year on September 21st. The documentary features appearances by the Dalai Lama, Kofi Annan, Jeremy Gilley, Bianca Chiminello Roe, and Judi Dench.
