We believe and practice that strength comes from community and that by working together, we are better able to keep our energy focused on the values we live by.

Prescott Peacebuilders are a spirited group of women and men guided by the call to “follow your bliss,” a phrase made famous by mythologist and teacher Joseph Campbell. Campbell is one of the many wisdom keepers who inspire us, alongside voices like Joanna Macy, the Dalai Lama, Michael Meade, activist Valarie Kaur, and theologian Joan Chittister.

Though we come from different perspectives, we are united by a shared dedication to peace, justice, and creative expression of heart and mind.

Partnerships are key. We have worked with local organizations, such as The Launch Pad Teen Center, the MLK Peace and Justice Committee, and Prescott Indivisible, to promote positive community interactions.

Don't ask yourself what the world needs… ask what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
